Meet the SSS Family
April Boggs
April is the studio owner and director. Mrs. April has been studying the art of dance for 37 years in various styles; ballet, tap, lyrical, hip hop, modern, musical theatre and clogging. She received her Bachelor degree from St. Gregory's University with a concentration in entertainment management. Mrs. April has 29 years of dance teaching experience and has been a studio director for 24 years. She founded Stompin' Sensation Studio in 2009 with 35 students. SSS continues to grow and flourish with choreographers, teachers and dancers who live and love the art of dance.
Patrick Boggs
Patrick is the office manager. He received his BA degree from East Central University in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business. He became office manager at the studio after working in the government sector for 18 years.
Sarah Licklider
Mrs. Sarah was the first graduating senior at SSS in 2010. She has been teaching since 2011. Sarah teaches all ages and styles including competition teams. Sarah was a member of the Seminole State Dance Team. She has danced since she was three and has 10 years of choreography experience.
Skyler Keel
Mrs. Skyler started dancing at three years old, dancing recreationally and competitively. Skyler was a Seminole State College dance team member. She enjoys teaching mommy and me, jazz, tap and especially clogging to all ages. She began teaching dance because she wanted to pass on her passion for dance to the next generation.
Nikki Wright
Mrs. Nikki has been dancing since she was four years old and has been teaching for eight years. She teaches beginner tap, baby classes and adult clogging. She loves teaching because she enjoys the "ah ha" moments, when the dancers (of all ages) finally get a step that they have been working on.
Erin Bonner
Miss Erin began dancing at age of 3 unil graduating from SSS in 2012. She was a member of the Seminole State Dance Team and then went on to make the Saluki Shakers at Southern Illinois University. Erin is looking forward to being back in the studio sharing her love for dance and performing with her students.
Katie Moore
Katie started dancing at age 5 recreationally and then began competitive dance as she grew in the studio. She was a graduating Senior of Stompin' Sensation Studio. She was a part of the St. Gregory's University dance company where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Managemen. She then went on to receive her Master's Degree in Business Management at East Central University. Dance was her whole life growing up and she cannot wait to be back in the studio!
JoLee Guthrie-Denton
JoLee has been dancing since age 4. In high school she was on Boomer Dance Team and Level-Up All Stars . She is now a sophomore on OBU Pom and a member of the Potawatomi Fire Girls Dance Team. She is vey excited for this dance season and loves getting to share her love for dance with others.
Haley Kidney
Miss Haley began dancing at age 3 and continued recreational and competitive dancing until graduating in 2021 from SSS. Currently she is a Freshman at Oklahoma State University and is minoring in dance. Haley loves performing and sharing her passion for dance.
